No, I'm pointing out fundamental differences in theological ideology between what Christians believe and what was posted here as being what Muslims are taught.
Okay, I'll bite, what it the fundamental difference and how does it apply here?

Muslims (according to this thread) believe their prophet is above the law of the land, therefor they are above the law of the land if they follow his edicts.

Christians are fundamentally taught to obey the laws of the country they live in.

Neither group is perfect at carrying out instructions, but if that is (and it was) your argument, it's irrelevant to this topic.

Only a disgrace because the muslims say so:

That area that failed to adhere to even the most basic restriction rules has been compromised and no longer considered sacred.
Police wisely did not remove their heavy boots to avoid contamination
At this point in time what the president says is more important than what muhammed says.
How many more times must the people intervene when people break the law after being warned numerous times?

Can't you separate 2 concepts
1. The guys that broke the "no gathering" regulations - they should be fine/prosecuted whatever is applicable
2. The Police behaviour - Nothing justifies that behaviour. Certainly not 1. The offending cops should be disciplined.

However 1. should still happen regardless.

Of course they do. In every country they go to yet restrict other religions from practicing in their countries. Why do we have to pretend that they operate any differently?

I've seen it way too often. Come count the number of Muslim owned stores still running as if there's no lockdown. Its how they operate

Take over an area. Pay when they need to and convert everything to their culture

Cele apologised more so as a log of their benefactors are Muslim

Real Christians are also taught to obey the laws of the country they are in.
So are Muslims, U cant think that 17 people represent Islam in SA ? U cant think we Muslims approve such behavior ? I would say 90% of the comments Ive seen on FB and whatsapp are even worse than some of them here in their condemnation of these guys actually.

At the same time though the cops were very disrespectful, u cannot deny that as well. Its not about apologizing to Muslims, its about respect, if that cop had said the same line but used Jesus I would have felt that exact same way, These are people that suppose to protect us. I understand the need to police especially during these times but there is a very clear line that should not be crossed.

Muslims must obey the law of the land as anything to the contrary would mean that they are not obeying their Prophet or their religion.

Any country or government that guarantees religious freedom to followers of different faiths (not just Islam) must be owed loyalty. The Prophet Muhammad(sa) stressed this point when he said:

‘One who obeys his authority, obeys me. One who disobeys his authority, disobeys me.’ (Muslim)

In Islam obedience to the law of the land is a religious duty. The Qur’an commands Muslims to remain faithful to not only Allah and the Prophet Muhammad(sa), but also the authority they live under:

O ye who believe! obey Allah, and obey His Messenger and those who are in authority over you (Ch.4: V.60).

I wont say true Muslims vs non true etc, but I will say Muslims that knows and studied their faith instead. U get easily influenced people in any faith that can be mislead.

The vast majority of Muslims do in fact obey the law of the land including the lock down rules. Unfortunately, like everywhere else, there will always be those that chose to ignore the rules. I am glad that in this instance they were subjected to the law.

So this story has cracked international news.

I have problems when the only takeaway from a serious incident like this is that the prophet has been insulted and the muslims are upset.
Even your hardline police minister has been forced to grovel and apologise - you do not want to upset our muslim friends.
What's so difficult about following the posting guidelines?

I never know what to make of it.

If you're a police officer, you're exposed to crime and criminals every day.
That would harden anybody up or desensitise them over a period of time IMHO.
So how do they turn it off when dealing with something like this.

It's like me helping a beggar and seeing them toss the bread into a bin or using the money to buy drugs.
How many times would I see this before deciding to not give anymore, and basing my opinion on it?
I think it's part of human nature, so near impossible to be unbiased/neutral in every interaction.
