Every single religion that violates lockdown rules should be taken to task there is no question but this situation is different. Yes the police were naughty in their handling of the worshippers but you'd expect nothing less from these guys. We've seen far worse cases of police brutality that goes unnoticed.

By forcing the police to apologise for insulting Muhammed you sending out the wrong message that muslims can get preferential treatment. There's already court orders being handed down to ease the restrictions and allow muslims to attend mosques. Which other religion has gone to this extent to oppose what the goverment has laid down in dealing with this epidemic. Theres an article about these court orders in the Covid thread.

These people were fully aware of the lockdown restrictions but chose to ignore it so the treatment they received is par for the course so let it go. Do not turn this around and make it an issue of blasphemy. In light of what is happening in the world right now, what Muhammed wants and how he feels pales into comparison to what is needed for us all to survive and as a human race.

You are overstating the impact of COVID-19 in a way that suggests you are unaware of its real-world impacts.

We're 7.8 billion strong. Maybe 2%-3% of us are at risk. We are a long, long, way from extinction.

Your anti-muslim bias is showing, plenty of Christians would freely admit that what Jesus says is far more important than any president.

The Muslims where wrong, but this sort of attitude to a supreme being over local laws is hardly unique to Islam.
But how many of them would express outrage and force the police to apologise for blasphemy?
If police raided a church saying you think Jesus is more important than the president - it would most likely generate laughter, not the kind of extreme responses we get from our muslims friends.

Thats a very narrow view of the overall effects of the virus, some of which we are already starting to see.

You are seeing the effects of poor responses to the virus, not the virus itself that has killed 0.000026% of world population.

Come on. You know why this is. Once one person in NK starts making fun of Kim Jong Un and if there are no death consequences/other severe consequences, another will join and another..

CLearly you stated this?

SO based on what 1 group did it equate to what the entire religion believes and is taught?

so would the same logic not apply to christians?

Here:

here:

More recently:

Should i go on?
Like I said, I wouldn't go so far as to call those Christians, so I can't comment on what they believe and are taught.

And you ignore the fact that is a small minority - so small that the Combined muslim bodies gave the courts expert witnesses to defend the lock down.
You are fully aware of this Fact and yet you ignore it?

Typical Bigoted attitude!

After having seen each comment which was deleted , I can honestly say that @isie comment about what was deleted being akin to the blasphemy is false .
It was facts , irrelevant facts but to paint it the same as what the cops did is wrong ,the Muslims we're wrong for doing it , the cops were wrong with their actions , we just need servants of the people to be respectful and responsible while performing their duties during this stressful time and going forward.

According to this thread yes you mentioned that specifically - there were different opinions but no mentioned anything about muslim teachings besides the OP - but you should be intelligent enough to know what he claims is BS

So what do you think?

Who are you to decide who is christian or not?
I'm certainly free to make up my own mind on anything, am I not? I'm allowed to place my opinion here, it surely has the same weight as anyone else on this forum? I'm not trying to tell anyone to think what I think.

Sorry but that is not correct you are trying to distance the transgressors by saying they are not real Christians. This is not an opinion you are deciding that they do not form part of your faith, that seems very convenient.

Of course you are. But you're starting to sound like my stepmom who thinks her religion is better than anyone else's.

You're better than that.

It was 17 naughty Muslims that disobeyed the rules. Everybody else is in agreement with government. This discussion has already been mentioned in the Covid group. So no need for you know who to start another thread on it, except to see it get heated again between Muslims and everybody else. It's clear the guy has an agenda. I mean, there are plenty of people currently out on the streets who are not Muslim, going against the wishes of government.

Like everybody else, we are disgusted about those 17 for going against the rules.

Yup as we all should be disgusted with the police actions and the 17's actions,if the guy has an agenda then don't give him more ammo like isie did by flat out lying about what was actually said .
but the comment is basically similar to what is wrong with what the cops did
Someone said earlier that Muslims get framed for lying etc , this doesn't help.

Only infractions I received on this forum were because of remarks about Muslims.

Now, as a counterpoint, look at the vile filth that is spewed forth regularly about Christians on this forum, and the double standard is plainly obvious.
That's rubbish.

I have at least two infractions for comments made to Christians about Christianity.
