Muslims (according to this thread) believe their prophet is above the law of the land, therefor they are above the law of the land if they follow his edicts.

Christians are fundamentally taught to obey the laws of the country they live in.

Neither group is perfect at carrying out instructions, but if that is (and it was) your argument, it's irrelevant to this topic.

The vast majority of Muslims in this country are obeying the laws of the land and not attending prayers. Mosques across the country were closed before the lockdown even started. The Jamiatul Ulama and UUCSA, both councils representing the majority of SA Muslims have informed their followers to abide by the governments rulings.

It looked like you compared the deleted comments to the same as the police comments , they weren't the same kind of thing.

But you can see who started the thread.. Yes it's the same guy that continues to search and hunt for anything negative he can find on Muslims, and then start a thread. He is inciting some sort of hatred between members on here. This forum never use to have this level of hate, until a few regulars continued to produce these sorts of threads.

I beg to differ, MyBB has always had the same level of hate for Christians in the Philosophical Forum. I don't visit it much.

How about you go back and read what i typed I said they similar - personal opinions that have no bearing on the situation in question
they allowed to feel and have whatever opinion you want , the cop has his the poster has his.
the poster justifies his belief on why they shouldn't apologize based on his opinion, the cop shouting what he shouted based on his opinion. Both have nothing to do with the situation we refering to hence they simialr.

Jeez, if it had been a synagogue, a church or a temple that was busted, there would be a similar thread about it.

The outrage if you want to call it that is about the 'religious' thinking it they somehow special and exempted from the rules - in this case it was the the muslim religious.

Alleged Blasphemy by cops is not similar to posting freely googlable facts , yes that poster was on about irrelevant facts but they were not similar and I have never seen what was deleted be referred to as blasphemy.

The posters opinion - freely available facts shaped it.
The cops opinion - speculation at best unless they have evidence of everyone there saying what he was alleging.
I said it's not blasphemy because you compare the posters comments to Alleged Blasphemy.

Only infractions I received on this forum were because of remarks about Muslims.

Now, as a counterpoint, look at the vile filth that is spewed forth regularly about Christians on this forum, and the double standard is plainly obvious.

The lie was claiming the comments posted off official sites backing Islamic beliefs/pro Islam was the same as the cops comment , patently false and misleading.
You Know people will jump at the chance to skewer that comment so either admit to it being false or pull a Trump and say it was sarcasm.

Platypus has a break , it's not similar to birds in many ways.
