They did say loadshedding will be resolved by December. I'm guessing 2045

First they admit the fire pool was really a swimming pool and now they admit we really did have stage 8 load shedding. What's happening?

Look, when you remove all the people that sit on their hands in the government, and replace them with actual people that is honest, and hard-working, to resolve the issues, then they can say something is going to change.

You cannot let the one hand do good, while the other one is dealing and stealing.

At Eskom: When the syndicates realize that they cannot pay off the drivers for transporting coal, etc they will start to kill and take hostages, in order to keep the money flowing.

Selective confession, I guess their cupboards don't have any more space for skeletons, probably throwing one out, to stuff another one in.

Election year. **** gonna be crazy.

Gweezy clearly not happy about not coming right with the Karpowership deal and needs to inflate the issue for his own gain.

Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy Gwede Mantashe said South Africa experienced stage 8 load-shedding at the beginning of 2023.
Nothing to be proud of.

First the ANC creates the mess, then they pretend it's getting better just in time for elections.
Installed Solar PV + Lithium Battery a few years back - best investment ever - and my electricity bill went from R2,500 to R450 i.e. less money for Eskom to waste.

really starting to replace what ANC politicians say in my head with pigs making Squealing noises,
or toilets flushing, honestly, its better that way, because nothing of what they say makes any sense and its all lies.

Isn't this GROSS INCOMPETENCE? Should ministers be excluded from loadshedding? If they "feel the peoples pain" then maybe they will stop corruption?

It would be interesting to know at what stage we would be if no solar was installed at homes.
So far we used 600kWh (92 from Eskom due aircons running during the night).
If I look at my neighbourhood large percentage has both and I'm guessing has similar numbers.

Would we reach stage eleventy?

Don't think the journalist can count, it was 14 in 2023, not 11, it was 11 in 2024

In the first two weeks of 2023, Eskom implemented eleven days of load-shedding. It included stage 3 for one day, stage 4 for five days, stage 5 for a day, and stage 6 for four days.

Over the same period in 2024, Eskom implemented eleven days of load-shedding – one day of stage 1, three days of stage 2, and seven days of stage 3.

Seems they forgot the 3 Stage 2 days? Or doesn't Stage 2 count anymore? Plus we never experienced Stage 8.

Plus the stages are wrong for the 2024, it was Stage 2/3 on the 14th as it dropped

True. They're probably going to use it to try and fool the masses and tell them that "Look, at the begging of the year we were at stage 8, but by the year end we had 19 days without loadshedding... See, we are gracious gods, please vote for us again. Here, take a Streetwise 2, my palms have already been greased, now it's your turn."
