I haven't played as much as you have, I'm at level 17 or 18. It gets frustrating when you're a crap player like me, never had good hand eye coordination since childhood.

Trust me, I know what you are talking about. I have people asking me why I bother playing going 0-20.

However, I mostly end up on the top 10 due to me playing objective based gaming since I suck at getting kills, which helps a lot.

It's not that I have sucky hand eye coordination, it's because I'm getting older

Whoop! So that means that I will actually be able to get the kills! Some days I can empty a entire clip on a enemy (Every hit on target) and he would still nail me with two shots in the foot :crylaugh:

Latency won't fix that. That happened a lot in BF4. So much that I eventually tried to go for head shots only.

My sniping has gone from good to absolute trash since the update. Not sure if it's me or a slight change to the mechanics.

Sniping is only one thing that got harder in the game,overall everything in bf1 got harder.A lot more thinking and planning.With bf3 and 4 it was run and shoot everything ,lot more fast pace for me compared to bf1 where as it's slower paced

That is why I don't like the BF1 idea. It felt too slow during the Beta' versions. BF4 is still cool, but the player base seems to have decreased sugnificantly.

Yeah I'm thinking I will. Wish I could test it out with the improved latency we're getting next year though, since I don't want to spend R1000 and don't trust CDkeys (or at least that EA won't revoke a bunch of keys like has happened before).

The reduced latency will just allow us to up our skill, but the core game experience won't really change, at least enough for it to factor into your decision if you enjoy it.

True, I'll be testing it, knowing that the experience should improve. I know the biggest complaint most have is with the progression system, but that's not a big deal to me. Will have to gauge the overall "feel" of it.

So finally managed to get some multiplayer time this weekend. And man, is it something to get used to. My aiming sucks! Any tips for the beginner I am proving to be? Managed to get some kills, but my kills to death ratio is crap.

How big a difference does leveling up make to the weapons?

Also, not sure how big an effect my 250+ ping has on my shooting ability, I literally have to get someone from behind to kill them, as I lose confrontation battles almost 100% of the time...

Although I die a lot, I really enjoy the game!

My KD is around 1.5 and guns don't make a big difference. My weapons of choice are M18 trench, Russian 1895 sniper and the Bar. All early guns.

Tips, hmmm. Play operations, it's more fast paced than conquest and alot more concentrated action. Good for practising your shooting and improving.

I also started losing the 1v1s but in time you get better at it.

Thanks will play more operations then. Must say it is very addictive, especially getting those on shot kills with the sniper rifles. I also need to relax a bit during battle, as I have regularly pressed the R3 melee button accidentally while trying to shoot at someone...
