It's wayyyyyy past that ... we have already crash-landed after bursting thru the safety barrier, which is now crumpled on top of our fiery graves...
Yip. I feel the general man in the street is starting to feel a deep sense of despair when thinking about the future.

Germany will have 0.5% growth this year so it is not only SA that is struggling to grow, except of course the efficiency of our government does not match the germans. No BEE and AA there. Hire the best, fire the rest.

Germany's unemployment rate is still under 6% which makes a big difference. They don't need massive growth to reduce unemployment like we do.
Here in RSA we have over 44% unemployment (expanded rate) and need a sustained 4 to 5% growth in order to reduce it. Half our population (29 million) are on some form of social support and hanging on by a thread.

Comparing Germany's growth rate to South Africa's is an apples vs oranges comparison. Our economies and socioeconomic realities are worlds apart.
