So another year of it... Of course no valid reason to extend it. I mean cases have been low for almost 2 months now.

Unfortunately as long as "scientists" (probably many on the public sector payroll) make unhelpful interventions in the media about a fourth wave, then it provides easy cover for Her Doekiness to extend the SoD.

In all honesty, even if the scientists (and there have been many) who say the SoD is unnecessary, Herr Doekiness will still extend it. They've had 18 months to put basic laws in place around Masks and what not, but of course that would involve removing her power to do as she please, and as the ANC pleases to fsck around.

I would hazard a guess that the SoD is going to remain in place until it is properly and effectively beaten down in a court of law (and that is a long way off as our courts seem to be very hesitant to deal with this bollocks)

I'm surprised the DA has not been active in this regard. I know Winde has called for the end of the SoD but I'm talking about court action. Maybe it is very difficult to challenge - one big worry I have is no exit plan has been announced...i.e. 50% capacity at sports stadia when 50% are fully vaccinated or something. Just fiddling along.

I think the DA are just aware that they'd pissing away good money at the moment with the way our courts have been ruling when it comes to challenges to things from the SoD.

State of disaster started 27 years ago. Anyway did they not say 4th wave will hit on 2 December and we will have a harder lockdown. Everything is planned well before it actually happens, surely they crook the numbers.

Remember everyone praising the SA government's response to Covid? As jy dom is moet jy k@k en betaal
