South Africa is now home to the world’s longest zipline

I didn’t necessarily say that but International tourists are a major part of the client base of such attractions.
Problem is that Caledon is not exactly a destination for international tourists, and it is to far out of the way to pick up the Cape Town-Hermanus crowd. Would be interesting to see how well they do.

It would be nice to have a local discount, maybe R1000, while international tourists could pay $100/€95/£80 etc.

Other countries do have this, locals pay a cheaper rate
SA too though? For stuff like national parks. I remember it was the case at Boulders Beach as well, but of course that's nowhere near as expensive is this thing.

R1,8 k is just theft for locals, or just another tourist trap, like the amphimious bus in CPT.

I know saffers are short on cash with all the car payments on GTI and hiluxes people seem to be driving everywhere.

But can't they do something a bit more reasonable? I mean even offer crypto payments?

Or like many of these things just another way to fleece people and cater for the foreign tourists who don't have somewhere better to go, in Asia or Europe.

The price is the price. It's driven by demand. If you can't pay it, someone else will...

Did the Canopy Tours in Tsitsikamma and the Magaliesberg.
