Among other things, the increased security measures demand that no South African government minister is allowed to use any host country’s communication tools when visiting other countries

and how will they do that???

What trust? You really think they want your or anyone here in SA's trust? I don't see them running down here, falling to their knees and asking the cANCer government for forgiveness and trust....

They don't give a flying fark whether we trust or not trust them. In their eyes we are just another third world, corrupt banana republic.

If anyone from Obama's delegation uses or calls into local telcos, it will be non-critical conversations/data and far more likely to disseminate disinformation and keep the local spooks chasing their own vestigial tails.

It's far more likely that a dedicated secure high bandwidth USA government satellite will be rerouted to a geosynchronous orbit above Africa for the duration of Obama's visits to African countries.

South Africa, however, used this experience to prove that the country’s growing influence unsettles some Western nations.
Yeah, ANC, your incompetence has them shaking in their boots :D :D :D

I never implied that the USA doesn't have other satellites staring at what goes on in this and other parts of Africa.

I'm sure the USA even has time lapse footage of the "top secret" Nkandla construction works as well everything that happens in king Zumatello's terrorist training camps with which he clearly has no problem.
