South Africa moves ahead with coding and robotics at schools

Tlhabane said that unlike subjects such as science, this new curriculum does not need dedicated rooms at schools, which will make it easier to implement.
Robotics and coding don't need dedicated rooms? Are they coding on paper? Dijkstra would be so happy.

WHAHAHA. I was wondering the same thing. SA loves paper. They will attend to the problem, when they realize it. Are they saying each and every kid has access to the internet or WIFI? After 18 years since I left, they still haven't pulled their heads out or their *****

too little, too late,

first learn to read and write properly, then basic Maths, then basic economics, then basic chemistry.
then basic Geography and basic History.
(the ABC's, foundations that everything build on top of)

then you can think about Coding and Robotics.

unfortunately, many kids today leave with is a PHD in Looting and Burning state property.
or Bunking school and smoking Weed, or getting a B-Tech in Car theft/ Hijacking/ Mugging/ Raping.
at the closest Juvenile hall/ Crime university.

sad that were going to be left far behind, when they lowered the Pass marks to show progress.

this is the Price one pays for the ANC incompetence.

but then again, to be a ANC fat cat, you dont need that much education, do you?
