Are you mistaking the ANC national party for a Anti Nuptial Contract?
Coz it sounds like you blaming the ANC for not being able to find another spouse (with an additional income)?

I do not need the ANC to find a partner ;-)

I am in a relationship - she has a child but is fortunate to have an ex with whom she shares the financial responsibilities.
We are there for each other but it would be unfair for her to take on my financial responsibilities as a single parent.

What I do blame the ANC for is all the stuff mentioned in the previous posts by myself and others that have negatively affected the country, the cost of living, our safety and security, etc.

Such scare mongering.
Scaredy-cat lolzzzz
People said the same of the Titanic, no wait, they actually boasted that is was unsinkable.

Then again, nobody has to try convince you, absolutely stay in the kingdom of Wakanda as long as you like..

It is a progressive policy, not a liberal policy.

The DA's option is actually very sane, if you have been unemployed for years, surely any job is better than no job?

You ever worked for below minimal wage?

I have and I will never support any political party that advocates it. DA supporters are so blinded that they are cultish. I quiet the DA because of the party's double standards.

Cheers all and enjoy your wet dreams of Helen Zille. I'm walking away from this thread.

Please objectively state why getting a R350 grant is better than earning R19.99 an hour?

Might be wrong but have we ever had a negative GDP?
Here you go -> can't have negative GDP but GDP growth measured year-on-year or quarter-on-quarter can be negative when compared to a previous period's data.
You can go down the rabbit hole trying to understand GDP figures and how they are measured (Seasonally adjusted vs non-adjusted or adjusted for inflation vs not etc etc) but essentially, if the total GDP Expenditure (as measure by all purchases/spending in an economy) of SA in 2019 is lower than in 2018, your GDP YoY is negative, IE no growth.

See below pics for the SA GDP Constant Prices 2015 (adjusted for inflation) from 1994 -> 2021:

Nice graphs, where did you get them from?
Can’t remember what happened in 2019 that was so evident in the drop.
2009 was the credit crunch and we stabilised fast and recovered just as fast. 2020 was covid. What was 2019 about again, Trump did something that caused chaos around the world, was it the hauwei and ZTE ban?
