South Africa should introduce mandatory vaccine policies ahead of December: business group

Business for South Africa (B4SA) says that South Africa will need to introduce a combination of mandatory vaccine policies and incentives if the country is to meet its national vaccination target in December.

Not gonna happen before 1 November Martin.... election time and all that, and can't do anything that would possibly alienate your voters.

They can’t, constitution won’t allow.. they can only put in a lot of dis/incentives to push compliance along.

Nov1 many will be heading to voting stations across the country.. standing in line at times too.. will there be a rapid register and vaccinate strategy employed ? Especially in rural areas. You literally don’t get an opportunity like this.
