Bloomberg reported that Coke bottler, Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, will rethink its spending plans in South Africa should the proposed tax on sugary drinks be implemented in 2017.

Doubt the sugar tax will dent soft drink consumption.

It's not as though prices will suddenly increase by 20% next April, Coke have got 7 months to slowly ramp them up to compensate (and profit in the interim)
