An ID number ending in 186 Indicates a permanent resident and not a South African citizen. Thanks for letting us know you're not an SA citizen despite you acting like one...

If you don't like Africa then you shouldn't be in Africa

What if you have no choice? If I could, I would leave without hesitation. South Africa is just another African schithole headed for the abyss.

Look dip ****, I first encountered racism, in the UK while just walking on a street minding my own business , on my first 4 day trip to that craphole, while some of your friends (they must have been your friends) drove past on the A4. I was there for a 4 day conference. Scared the crap out of me.

Then seen the more sinister type of racism - the covert kind which many (not all) Brits practice over a period of 10 years.

But my arrogance is so awesome, that my best friend is now a white male brit. So am I one of you now?

So why is my birth country (SA) a craphole? Because this country has gone to **** compared to what was there in 1994 (and I was forced to live and get educated whatever the group areas act prescribed) .. it's not getting better - we are on the accelerating path of becoming another Zimbabwe.

So yes, I will become an immigrant again if it means I do the best for my family.

As as aside,
I normally treat everyone with the utmost of respect , regardless of rank or position , because I am human first. I have learnt a lot of lessons first hand while growing up , not to assume - but to learn first. I'll change my mind afterwards if necessary.

Anyway, good day to you
Hey, hey, hey...
Dont pick on The Champ...
He gives me good laughs daily!
(There is a Champ on every single forum out there, see them as humour trolls!)

Can ask why there are so many South Africans in New Zealand and Australia, I thought they voted in the referendum to end Apartheid?
I think because they want better life and opportunities for their families, nothing to do with voting.
Also you will notice that those leaving are younger generation that either were not born or did not have voting rights at that time.

Unfortunately, I rely on the integrity of people here. But there seems to be little...

Poe's law is an adage of Internet culture stating that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, it is impossible to create a parody of extreme views so obviously exaggerated that it cannot be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of the parodied views.

Without the voice inflection and body language of personal communication these are easily misinterpreted. A /s, has become widely accepted on the net as an indication that "I'm only kidding". If you submit a satiric item without this symbol, no matter how obvious the satire is to you, do not be surprised if people take it seriously.

Sorry about that. You looked drunk and was talking to yourself, in our defence.

Don't you think it's common knowledge, that's why I did it? Mine ends with 082

Why can we not apply the same logic to the zimbabweans?

For someone so concerned with hiding his own identity you sure are curious about mine.

607

Male: 6
Citizen: 0
Checksum: 7

2/3 for you.

From https ://www.westerncape.gov.za/general-publication/decoding-your-south-african-id-number-0

A South African ID number is a 13-digit number which is defined by the following format: YYMMDDSSSSCAZ.

The first 6 digits (YYMMDD) are based on your date of birth. 20 February 1992 is displayed as 920220.

The next 4 digits (SSSS) are used to define your gender. Females are assigned numbers in the range 0000-4999 and males from 5000-9999.

The next digit (C) shows if you're an SA citizen status with 0 denoting that you were born a SA citizen and 1 denoting that you're a permanent resident.

The last digit (Z) is a checksum digit – used to check that the number sequence is accurate using a set formula called the Luhn algorithm.

The graphic below details the different sections of an ID number, based on the fictitious sequence 9202204720082

Second last digit was used in the past to indicate race. Now we are all 8s
