A lot of Rhodesians came to SA when Mugabe took over. Did those immigrants get special permits too?

Wasn't the British flag struck and the Zimbabwean flag raised when Rhodesia became Zimbabwe and the great day of freedom under Mugabe dawned on 18 April 1980?

Pretoria - Government has encouraged all Angolans who sought refuge in South Africa as a result of the civil war in Angola, to voluntary avail themselves for repatriation.. The repatriation is in line with the cessation declared by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and supports the efforts to enhance regional integration.

Nope. It's a strategic and critical move to "create" jobs and reduce the unemployment of SA locals. For some strange reason, voters without jobs may not vote ANC in the elections, which are just around the corner.
