Got my first dose. There were just 2 of us when I was there. In and out in 30 mins. The needle didn't even hurt.

I also got my first jab last week, didn’t even feel the needle. But later that night my arm felt like I had been punched by god himself lol. Took about 3 days for it to go away.

Thanks for daily updates. It is going to take at least another 3/4th of a year at this rate, isn't it?

It could take forever, if the rate of new vaccinations keeps falling:

Some rough calculations:

Taking rolling 7 day averages and projecting forward, the vaccination rate stabilises at about 148 000 from October.

That gets us to about 31 million shots by the end of 2021. If we assume that half of the shots are Johnson & Johnson and half are Pfizer, that gets us about 23.5 million fully vaccinated.

Keeping those rates up gets us to about 44 million fully vaccinated by the end of June 2022 and could go to 64 million by the end of 2022.

23.5 Million fully vaccinated by end of year sounds good tbh. There is too much reluctance to take vaccine and I know of some elderly people who are taking vaccine now just because some of their relatives died of covid. They were not willing before such deaths. It is astonishing. Common point I see is their religious upbringing. It kind of matches with 50% prayer over vaccine survey.

Perhaps register on EVDS using your passport number, then get a heterologous prime-boost shot using a Pfizer dose instead of a second J&J dose?
