Ain't a snowball's hope in Malelane of saving this test match. May as well just focus on getting batting practice.

Bavuma and de Bruyn have to put on a century stand at least to save this

It's the actual ban that's ridiculous. Players swear all the time. Should we suspended them for a match every time they utter an expletive or make a make comment to the opposition.

Had it been an Aussie I'm sure he would've gotten off because those guys always get the green light for sledging.

He wasn't banned for swearing only, he was banned for the send off, and also due to a previous accumulation of demerit points. "using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batsman upon his/her dismissal during an International Match.""

I didn't see a send off nor an aggressive reaction from the batsman. Ok moving on and this is a massacre. Even the girls are playing better cricket atm.

We win then. He is a good captain and roll England over. Pity he was not there, but ah well.
We have a chance, that's for sure. Just got to conjure up a replacement for Rabada.

Morris? Would also help to bolster the batting a bit. What's the story I wonder on Vern? He going to be ok for the second test?

Interesting how parallel their careers are running. QdK will go on to greater things than Gilly ever did but only because he is so much younger. Gilly was stuck behind Ian Healy for so many years.

Adam Gilchrist is one of my favourite all time players. I loved watching him bat. Even that one match against SA when he blazed a double ton at Centurion. He was hitting the much vaunted SA attack with consumate ease, at times just toying with them.

dude, instead of dicking around here in the cricket thread you should be playing hon with me :p

:D
