What I will say is they have a middle order that in a season or 2 is going to be very scary!!

Vijay, Pujara, Kholi and Rahane!!!! Legends waiting to happen!!

They very thin in the bowling department though with Zaheer Khan in the twilight of his career. Sharma and Shami will need to step up bigtime!!

@AfricanTech their fielding was outstanding with the exception of the missed chances in the slip cordon! Again it's about finding the balance! Slip is a very specialist position to field and SA is going to hurt there with Kallis gone and Graeme not that far off either!!!!

Yeah, those guys are rock solid - we have the best bowling attack in the world and we had to work hard to get them out.

Oh, and of course, if they persist in "no DRS" they will lose more than they win - stupid gits (BCCI, not the Indian cricketers)

and Dhoni could do with a few lessons in diplomacy the ungracious so and so

Decent fielding though - some nice direct hits - if Faf hadn't been run out.....

ah well...

That is one area that they out-performed us. We definitely need to improve our direct hits which can make all the difference in close games.

Looking at this list three of the four you mentioned scored over 200 runs in the test series. (With four of our guys close to 200 with only 3 innings or a shortened 4th innings).

Aah, no cricket for a month... Well, the RAM Slam is going to start...

Plenty going on elsewhere to keep us entertained. Aussies looking for 5 - 0. Sri Lanka trying to get it on with Pakistan. Indian off to New Zealand and trying to forget their tour of South Africa. Ram Slam. Big Bash. Plenty going on. :D

Full house for the festival, virtually empty for N vs S, now raining for the T20 triple header (not that many people there today either). So where is wp better as a cricket venue?
