Ab seems to have a lot of these brain freezes.
I remember an interview with him where he stated that he wanted to be the best batsman in the world in 5 years.
This was almost 5 years ago.
I bet if he looked back now he may not be very happy with himself.
Don't get me wrong, he's had many great performances but I think his urgency to become great has led him to become mediocre at times.

got out very lazily. he had a brain freeze.

Really disappointing way to get out. Pity.

JP is motoring along.

/dispells jinxes

He really looked comfortable and just loved the effortless six over long off :)

"He bought the goats for Rs 100,000 but now they are nowhere to be found and have probably been stolen by animal thieves who become active before Eid ul Azha," the relative said.

Expensive? Any idea how what the conversion is into Rands?

Sounds like it wasn't secured in any way. Perhaps they are all too trusting? But then again, it's also the practice here in SA where the more rural folk allow their animals to graze wheresoever they choose :wtf:

152/4 at tea.

Not a bad position given the start. Pleased to see JP settled in so quickly.

Like I said, he's a great player.
Don't get me wrong.
There are just moments that I wish he'd play his natural game.

Maybe I'm just basing this on my opinion of him.
But purely from a spectator standpoint.
Not even looking at figures.

Opinions always welcomed, so long as they aren't ludicrous. I tend to agree with you though that he hamstrings himself sometimes and doesn't play as freely as he can/ought.

Yup. And he can play his usual game with JP at the other end playing so well.

Disappointing end to promising JP innings. Did his job beautifully though.
