Why oh why are we bowling full outside off???? It seems that everything out there is disappearing.

The lost art of death bowling.......that SA never really had.

45 overs. And I guess he chose to bowl because of the weather. Gave them a chance of swing...

Oh, okay, thanks. They're getting slaughtered out there. I'm following the live score ticker on the SS website.

Are they actually playing 50 overs today? Didn't they get a late start due to the rain? And WTF did AB decide to bowl first? :wtf:

At 22/2 after 7 it looked the right decision. Since then its been all Pakistan though!! How did we outplay them in the UAE but are getting pounded at home?? Don't get it??

I remain confident that we'll chase this down though. The confidence is completely irrational, I know, but I'm patriotic that way...:D
Like you I'm always confident we can chase down a score, any score for that matter!! The one time I did give up and stopped watching was the 438 game!!!!!!:mad:

I was in the UK, and Sky didn't televise that game live. I had to hear about it the day afterwards...

What a day that was. Wife gave up and went for a snooze. Eventually woke her up when the impossible looked likely. Bought the DVD set, which now languishes in ripped form on the media server.

Curious to see who steps up to the plate for this chase.

I was at work and was listening to ball by ball commentary but switched off when they got 434. Only saw the ending of the match when i got home. FFS, luckily my friend bought the dvd a few years later and I got to watch it in its entirety

We had a braai some time after that when I arrived back here - we put on the DVD and we all pretended it was live. For my benefit. We were admittedly a little sloshed, but it was fantastic...:D

I also went to take a nap when I saw they made 434. My brother woke me up when SA had 200 in the 30th over or thereabouts.

We reached 200 after 23 overs if I remember correctly. This was when I started watching the match.
