Faf might have to shoulder some of the blame. Given the bowlers performances, would have been tempted to close out with Abbott and Parnell or JP?

Parnell should've bowled over 6, same end he bowled his 1st over from
Abbott to bowl last over

Instead bowl a debutant and then make Parnell change ends... doesn't make much sense to me!

I suppose in a 7 over game every "incident" can be considered game-changing.

I will however say that irrespective of what happened before, Hendricks and Parnell's overs were atrocious. We should never have lost from the position we were in with 2 overs to go. Especially with new batsmen at the crease. IMO when you're in a winning position and two overs like those are bowled, there's no need to go back any further to find blame. It sits squarely there...

Okay the other 13 overs were bowled and yielded 100 runs with Aus making 153 requiring 28 of 12 with new batsmen at the crease.

Most 50 and 20 over games end up being 15 to 30 of the last 2 and a bit.

Really?.....4 from 9 at the top of order when there are still 33 balls left, is much less of a problem than the 5 from 8 from three different batsmen in the Aussie middle order, plus having new batsmen coming in everytime...yet the Aussies still won, because the two guys scoring did so over 250 strike rate

Parnell had bowled 1 over for 3 runs (+1 leg bye) and a wicket before the last over. 1-0-3-1.

If Duminy or Abbott gave the winning runs then you guys would be saying, "Why didn't Faf put in Parnell for the last over?".
