No you're missing the point here.
It's not a box.
You sit with all the plebs.
It's just that you have a reserved seat and alternate means to get drunk, eat and piss.

This isn't rocket science ppl.
:)

I understand the consent. Really I do. But seriously I do. I understand. ;)

Do note that all the cricket stadiums do not offer the same facilities :)

I do not think Centurion sells any other drink barring in the "Bar" with a view over the cricket field.

Centurion, 12th February - 18th February.

Hahahaha. I presume that was a nice sharp piece of humour and not an oversight?

SA is starting the 3 day warm up against:

South Africa squad
GC Smith*, AN Petersen, HM Amla, F du Plessis, JP Duminy, TL Tsolekile†, RJ Peterson, VD Philander, RK Kleinveldt, DW Steyn, M Morkel, AB de Villiers

South African Composite XI team
DA Hendricks, RR Hendricks, Q de Kock†, S van Zyl, D Elgar*, T Bavuma, RR Rossouw, R McLaren, WD Parnell, SR Harmer, BE Hendricks

So is this the indication that Kleinveldt is getting preference over Parnell and McLaren? Surely not? Parnell's left arm seamers (and the fact that he can bat) would be preferential to Kleinveldt imo. And what about Lopsy? Is not even a consideration even as a possible replacement?

Over Mclaren?
Mclaren is the better bowler given everything that we witnessed over the past couple months, and his batting is superior to Parnell.

Parnell is younger and more talented, a much better long term solution.

Heck, why not Beuran Hendricks?

Profile

Beuran Hendricks hails from Belville Cricket Club in the Cape and was nurtured through the ranks in the province. He first represented them at the end of the 2010-11 season, when he was just 21. His ability to bowl at pace - in the 140s kph - and swing the ball was what caught the eye.

Hendricks developed into a prospect for the future in the 2012-13 season when he was a regular member of the Cobras set-up. Bowling alongside the likes of Johann Louw and Charl Langeveldt, he learnt from experience and was the fifth highest-wicket-taker of the first-class season with 35 scalps at 17.74.

He was selected as part of South Africa A's 2013 winter programme and prospered on flat pitches. Fiver-fors against Australia A and India A earned him the praise of High Performance director Vincent Barnes and set him up to lead the Cobras attack in the coming summer.

His first class performance to date is impressive and is 7 years junior to Kleinveldt.

Parnell and McLaren > Kleinveldt.

Lobsy is not fit enough for Test cricket.

Over Mclaren?
Mclaren is the better bowler given everything that we witnessed over the past couple months, and his batting is superior to Parnell.

That is in ODI / One days cricket. Parnell took 8 wickets in his last first class game if memory serves.

Problem is Hendricks, is not as good a bat as Kleinveldt, McLaren or Parnell imo. If we were performing well enough and dropping the spinner I would go with Hendricks, he has been performing out of his skin and he gets movement through the air like a king.

I see Smith hammered 4 fours off of Parnell's second over. Ouch.
