Gotta agree de Kock is definitely one for the future, and present as far as I'm concerned.

I dont think QdK should have been picked as well. This is an Australian attack that is in form and you should go with experiance wherever possible IMO

Whoever plays ahead of him isn't likely to be much more experienced though.

De Kock averages over 50 in the FC game, albeit over a relatively short career so far. He's probably the first young player since AB made his debut that I've been optimistic about. Despite his exploits in the shorted formats I strongly feel he will become as important to the test team as AB and Amla are now, in time.

Dare I say it, a WK/Batsman in the same vein as Gilchrist?

From your lips to the gods ears....would be an awesome addition to the team...

Have you guys been checking out the leftie bowler from the Cobra's, Beuran Hendricks. Seems to be one for the future.

Dude, are you serious ? What has he done to deserve it [without the obvious ''he's black'']

His last 10 scores: 8, 7*, 7, 2 , 1*, DNB, 3, DNB , 31 - Nothing there screams batting talent

His First class record is also nothing special 73 innings - 1 632 runs @ 24 ?

Also, he just doesn't look up to standard for a keeper/batsmen, I recall him dropping a couple of sitters, that a keeper in his position really shouldn't put down.

The more I read about Australia talking up their bowling, the more I want to smash them all over the park. I am also quite certain that Dale, Vernon and Morkel are feeling the same. I think their talk is going to come back and bite them in the ass. Our Trio is going to be fired up for this series, I can guarantee it.

As for their bowling, I hope Smith and co destroy their confidence. A nice 500+ total in our first innings will give them a nice helping of STFU.

COME ON BOYS!!!! Let's smash these sheep shagging bastards!

10am: South Africa win the toss and choose to bowl

Is it a good idea...or they see something in the pitch?

There better be something in the pitch as:

1) The Aussies play better in control and feed of good starts.
2) We will bat last on this pitch and if it helps the spinners I really feel Aus have the better of spinner in their team :(
