Who said anything about Daesh?

Iran is a major weapons supplier to hezbollah, and the other fanatics in the region. Go ask Egypt the fun times they have as each year the training and weaponry of their enemies get's more advanced.

Denel is not directly linked to Guptas to my knowledge. Their last involvement was with a laser company ( gupta owned and a shell apparently) which was for some bid in India. I don't think they are involved in this deal.

I think we all are going through corruption fatigue so sometimes we make assumption that Zupta's are involved in everything (from political killings to scandals) and we can move on for time being.
 
I think you are all bonkers with your comments ! Selling war heads to any state is a big NO NO !!! If we are making missiles, then we should keep it for ourselves - for when conflict comes our way, we can defend ourselves. Why sell missiles to other countries, they will just eventually use it against those who sold it to them in the first place? WAR is what is going to end it for all humanity one day...watch this space !:whistling:

The trick is to sell the missiles to countries that are at least as far away and then some as the missile's maximum range. These particular missiles are designed to be launched from a war ship, so you have a point.

We don't have protection from the US. South Africa has never been part of NATO.

Maybe Trump can put sanctions on South Africa and just finish this failed experiment off once and for all.

China would not agree to sanctions against SA (unless Solly spends Easter in Taiwan).

Any trade restrictions imposed by the USA would result in more imports into SA from China.
 
We've already sold the same missiles to Algeria - another Muslim state. Iran is going on a post-embargo drive - why should we not profit from it. Besides - the missile in question is designed to be launched from a ship, or a special launcher on a truck. Its not something you could smuggle to Hammas or any other group like that. Its a pretty impressive piece of hardware - our engineers should be proud.

Then in that case.......Denel charge them the highest price (No messing around) you want our missiles - we want your $$$$$ And Tonnes of them :D
