South African 4G users surpassed 3G users in 2024 — PwC report

The number of South Africans using 4G mobile technology overtook those using 3G in 2024, while local 5G subscribers are expected to exceed 4G users by 2028.

This is according to PwC's Media and Entertainment Outlook report for 2024 to 2028.
