For weeks the figures were stable, not moving up. The recoveries were approaching 65% of the cases. Always looked suspicious and incorrect. The literally overnight up go the cases and the recoveries stop?

Totally confirms my suspicions that GP has been either not getting the data right or deliberately hiding it under a blanket of inefficiency.
The recoveries stopped , because they reflect the new cases from 14 days ago(when cases were still low). Do you really think SA have the best recovery numbers and counts on Earth? They just remove the death , and the ones confirmed 2 weeks back, concluding the active left.

"Here, a single test on day eight after last exposure to [Covid-19] can be done for essential workers like healthcare staff; if negative, the individual has very likely not been infected and can return to work, instead of waiting a full two weeks [before returning to work]; the five or six days saved [by returning to work] are important for highly needed professions.

"Testing of people previously diagnosed as infected, for example before they are allowed back to work, is nonsense and must stop; in uncomplicated cases, two weeks after [the] onset of illness and, in more severe cases, two weeks after coming off oxygen support is sufficient waiting time to make sure the individual is no longer infectious.
Only essential workers were tested second time, or in some cases , companies would've done it too.

Scuttlebutt has it that some staff working in shops in the Forest Hill shopping centre have tested positive.

The implication of this is that COVID-19 may be running rampant in Olievenhoutbosch and Diepsloot.

And this cold weather sets the perfect breeding area for COVID-19 - people want to stay warm etc etc... windows are closed, no fresh air, aircons and heaters pump out hot air...

We will have to wait for positive confirmation.

No, not at all. The comment was just to show how completely incorrect the previous reports and stats for GP were. We are now seeing for the first time what has been going on all along. The GP health department has been living in a fool's paradise for weeks.

So the beds being used and deaths? Still think there's something odd? Perhaps it's only starting to take a foot hold now, cause of the colder weather in the last 2 weeks or so.

No, they only wanted to cripple the white economy. They never realized how many of their own people depend on it.

Journalism degree (Moscow) = Minister of Social Development. what did you expect? like the others, she's a placeholder at best.

edit: even weak undergraduate courses for Social Development include basic research and analysis skills, programme design and testing, some stats, some comparative policy evaluation, etc. she has none of that. her whole education is literally writing puff pieces for Pravda as a token resistance warrior, 30 years ago.

ANC: "We are the party of the poor, we are from the people - vote for us!!"

ANC: "we have no idea how the poor live. imagine! they live in boxes and can't stay at home because then they'll starve to death. wow, neh? cray-cray. well, too late but next time..."

Qualifications are back in fashion? I can barely keep up with MyBb on this topic.
