Yeah my aunt had to have two serious operations (not covid-19 related) and each time she went, she got tested. Got results back in a day, but it was private. Also CT.

Yeah we know the WC is the epitiome of what it should be like, unfortunately the DA was ousted here in most of Gauteng.

As I've said my friends sister has ranged from 1 to 4 days depending also private, but I think now it's a bit longer as there are more. Who knows honestly. It's just the public that seems to be 4 to whenever.

o/t but they weren't doing exactly well in GP. Sure you could argue they needed more time but they actually regressed in Tshwane & allowed the EFF to dictate and allocate tenders.

Yeah - but they were hamstrung by the fact that they relied on EFF for votes to get things passed. Those thugs should never have been in the position of kingmakers.

They weren't doing badly in Johannesburg until Herman threw his toys

Herman threw his toys because he couldn't handle the political concessions he had to make in order to keep the kingmaker thugs happy.
I know, but there were some changes compared to what has happened since Geoff has been in charge.

This is my point I'm trying to reiterate ;-). People must stop counting the daily tests...

We knew this was going to happen. SA is not able to detect an increase in new cases without an equally exponential increase in number of tests done. As it stands they are sitting with hundreds of thousands of untested samples.

This is what is really happening:

But due to testing "limits" being reached we are now seeing this straight line starting to buckle:

Was gonna happen sooner or later, I just didn't expect it to happen this soon though. Thought we would at least be able to do 100k tests per day by now the way the gov has been going on about testing. Turns out it's all talk.

Are there any statistics for regular flu?
Or are we just keeping track of Covid?
