My wife's gynie is in the hospital building.

We've been there before COVID for other reasons, multiple times.

Since she's been pregnant, which has all been during COVID, we've been there 4 times.

The hospital is quieter than I've ever seen it.

To me that signals people are dying at home from other things for fear of contracting an imaginary illness.

Funeral parlours across the country are battling to cope as COVID-19 deaths continue to rise. AVBOB has started using shipping containers to store bodies as a way to prepare in case things get worse. eNCA reporter Khayelihle Khumalo has more. Courtesy #DStv403
Does this even make sense? Things are either so bad that you have to use shipping containers to store bodies in them, or they have shipping containers for storing bodies when things get bad. Am I missing something?

That's not quite accurate, as the majority of those who contribute zero income tax decide how his tax is spent (through voting for the anc).
Not entirely relevant to the topic at hand, but beyond zero contributions you also need to factor the tax payers' that paid so they could read and vote in the ballot.

I recall an entire class being devoted on how to vote.

Sometimes I wonder if the X that does not touch the edges applies to the majority.

Sounds like bullshit to me.

I think all the graves being dug and coffins prepared are for people who fail to bow to BLM. Perhaps we will be necklaced.

At least I will not be on this earth any longer if that happened to me.

Strange thing is that the Western Cape Dept of Health is also putting up these temporary mortuaries / containers - at Tygerberg, Lentegeur and other sites. Maybe it's to keep the Covid-19 bodies separate from the other bodies (quarantine after death)?

Same here in George.
Our friends had a little one in June, the Hospital wasn't even busy my friend told me. He's seen it way more packed.

Just seen on ENCa that this is the first step towards formalizing the taxi industry. They will basically start with paying informers to report how many vehicles comply and how many don't
Yeah sure this is definitely going to happen. Just like now when commuters are threatened with violence if they complain due to no sanitation or the enforcement of mask wearing.

Fixed the above for you; the reference is:

From the above reference, the annual flu results in deaths between 290,000–650,000/year.

The current deaths on record worldwide is standing at 614,011.

Not even reached the annual flu value yet.
Still think the reaction was justified??

Now take away all the lockdowns and precautions world governments implemented. Where would that number be?

EDIT: This does not mean I in anyway condone the way the ANC implemented our lockdown, it could've been done far more responsibly with far less damage done to people's lives and the economy.

Ja, just another step towards a Marxist country.
Under the guise of trying to track and trace.
In a perverse way it also acknowledges that taxis are super spreading vectors.
