And another one bites the dust :(

I really liked their chips and the one chef there made a good steak benedict. These were my number 1 cheat meals :p. That said it feels like they were going to close anyway, as they didn't even try do mr d/uber eats and they could have had their meat section and other things open then too. That said I didn't really like their meat overall (except for spider steaks), far better and cheaper meat available elsewhere.

The IMF Executive Board has approved South Africa’s request for emergency financial support under the Rapid Financing Instrument (RFI) for an amount of US$4.3 billion to help the country ANC mitigate the adverse social and economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic 26 years looting and pillaging.

According to a statement by National Treasury, the additional IMF funding is a low interest loan that contributes to government’s fiscal relief package officials dreams for better housing and bigger cars ,while respecting South Africa’s the few chosen decisions on how best to provide relief to them selves and their close friends and families.

It will also pave the way for government to provide the necessary financial relief required to forge a new economy and mitigate further harm to the economy tramp on the constitutional rights of the citizens and give easier access to their pensions. .

According to Treasury, the country has been hard hit by the pandemic NCCC, and this required government to come up with fiscal and monetary measures that would respond to the struggling economy cadres and contain its negative effects to society on ANC.

The Minister of Finance, Tito Mboweni, presented a Special Adjustments Budget in Parliament on June 24, as part of government’s key interventions to the Covid-19 pandemic freedom of all South Africans.

Public spending priorities and budgets are being re-ordered and reprioritised towards Covid-19 related interventions and economic recovery efforts the most corrupt.

What would happen if businesses, collectively, said fck you and opened? Bottle stores and restaurants started selling alcohol, all major retailers started selling smokes.

What could they do if millions of us just said get stuffed?

Businesses are easier to control as they can withdraw licenses and/or send in the police/army to forcibly close them. If millions of "us" hit the streets, then they'd probably give in.

So businesses freely trade as they please and citizens ''defend'' them.

I know, its a pipe dream.

At this point I'd take my chances with the 'Rona in a crowd than see more and more businesses and lives ruined.

This, and the taxi drivers stand together.
A few arrests of businessmen and middle class “protesters” will keep many from getting involved. Look how they disrupted the hospitality protests.

If there was ever a good time for a tax revolt, now it is.

The only way to do this is to withhold PAYE and VAT, no director is going to stand in a court and defend why they not paying it over, and then the companies are liable for fines and penalties again.

It’s a worthwhile thought in theory but won’t happen.

Our corporates aren’t even taking the government on for banning them to trade.

The biggest problem with tax revolt is that you're not fckn round with the government, but SARS. Remember that they can just freeze or empty your bank account as they please.

Unfortunate truth. SARS does not fck around. They may, at any time, just expropriate money from any of your bank accounts, although this has been disputed, seems like they still seem to do this now and again.

Two things in life you will never get away from is tax and death. We need to work within the legal constitutional framework, prior to covid, as it is written, if we were to hypothetically pull a big middle finger to the cabal. Civil disobedience.
