In the end the decision is his. If he thinks he is going to be in contact with vulnerable persons then it makes sense for him to consider self quarantining.
You isolate if sick and quarantine if maybe sick.
Sorry Geoff, I had it backwards, thanks for that.

Completely agree it's up to him and he says he's not going to stay indoors but will take precautions as in mask and social distancing. I've been keeping to myself and will continue to do so.

Probably been asked.
But how does our courts work during these times.
For things like divorces and family law.
Is it just not happening?

Back to ZA? Yes if you're negative on entry afaik they won't force isolation. its if you came in without a PCR test, a test older than 72h or a positive one you'de be forced into isolation.

Its not perfect since the person could have been infected in the 72h, but until we can do instant tests on-site and en masse its a chance taken so as not to prevent entry.
It's not perfect because the PCR test is barely 50% reliable.

They're happening, just with covid regulations regarding number of people and screening and sanitising in place.

The new Nelson Mandela Bay Mayor said there will be a NCC meeting this Sunday (He said he would be asking for NMB to be removed from hotspot status)

Any news on there being a meeting?

Edit:
I see they had a meeting on Wednesday

Lovely weather and we can't go to the beach. It's complete rubbish. We are in decline which is great, but still being punished by a bunch of people with no clue.
Mask on, sanitize and all that, but let us go do something with the kids while we can with what's left of summer.

When the first lockdown happened in the UK I spent a lot of time streaming Sky News because my youngest sister and BIL have been living there since late 90s in the South East. Maybe we need to do with beaches what they did with their parks. They couldn't gather in large groups and sit around but they could use the parks for exercise. I'm sure it would make a tremendous difference for those with active children and who are able to get to a beach to spend an hour or two running around specially for flat dwellers with no play grounds.

Ja we have, but we have some lovely beaches in Port Elizabeth where, if we don't want too, don't need to be within 50m of another family. That is the pity...
