Seriously wish we'd get some form of announcement.
They waiting until the liquor stores are closed before announcing a "family meeting tonight".
The can't be tipping the sheeple off before the time.

LOL

The government is considering easing lockdown regulations in preparation for the Easter, Pesach and Ramadan religious holidays from this weekend, President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Monday.

It would make a mockery of any restrictions if they restrict alcohol but let churches have a free for all. It would show that they care nothing for controlling the virus. Well, it showed when they first allowed religious gathering but restricted other things. This would just take it a step further.

Ummmm, they're a bit late for pesach celebrations.... Although it finishes next week, our "major gathering" was on Saturday night and last night

If alcohol is banned and religious ceremonies allowed, what's happening with sacramental wine during mass?? Asking for a friend.

Yup, and that annoys the crap out of me.

How tf can you govern a country when you are completely distracted trying to govern your party.
It's not a distraction. It's ANC policy to put party ahead of state. There is zero conflict here. Cyril is doing exactly what the ANC policy documents state.
