So it's going to be like the drivers license renewal booking system, but with probably 20x as many people trying to get in

It was very efficient in the beginning but the problem has been that the current phase/Sisonke programme is coming to an end on Saturday and there have been many healthcare workers who have waited until the very end for whatever reason and now they're panicking and arriving in droves this week at the sites hoping to walk-in without appointment or voucher issued and creating congestion. Seems that FOMO has taken hold.

I'll go with a month.

There are a quite a few sites opening this week which will initially be handling additional overflow for the current phase.

Funny enough everyone I know who was vaccinated this week is man down.

Isn't that expected? You basically get given the virus as well as the ability to beat it...mostly..unless they miscalculated and something they didn't think of kills you later?

The J&J vaccine being administered uses an adenovirus as a delivery mechanism so your body will mount a response regardless resulting in most people having mild flu-like symptoms the day of or after. It must be said however there are many who take the opportunity for a day off work regardless
