This guy is 100% correct. South Africa is being punished for our quick scientific research, response and transparency. Banning international travel won't do anything to stop the spread.

You'd think South Africa was the only country redlisted.

South Africa is the reason / primary target for the current red list, the others are neighbouring countries with unrestricted movement between them and SA (collateral damage).

As the vaccine wanes the virus will breakthrough it eventually and get stronger which explains how the new variant has 10 tentacles to infect the lung tissue.
The virus was mutating and in its evolution it was growing more tentacles toll it eventually got through. Beta had 3 tentacles and delta had 2, omicron has 10.
So omicron will be less infectious than delta?

But it has more tentacles. Extrapolating from your vast dataset of beta and delta we must conclude omicron will be much less infectious than beta.
Why would you think less tentacles indicate it’s less infectious?

Less cases than yesterday... though it's close to impossible to get tested on the weekend so idk...
