Well, EC is screwed.

I live in Chintsa. The majority of the population are retired old people.

I am at a higher risk due to BP meds.

Not phased. If it is my time, then it is what it is.

HOWEVER - I will take all precautions (washing hands etc) to avoid catching it for as long as possible. And to trust in our Lord.

Extended family of mine live there as well.
My ex (now deceased) wife lived there too. Our landlord was Mr Warren. He was into African Grey's too. We had happy day's there. Good memories.

Time flies. We lived there around 1997. Thatch roof house. Bestest place.

Every morning gotta drive to EL. For work. Around 40 to 44 Kms. Don't remember exactly.

So many good memories tho :)

Not so fast ...are you on an ACE inhibitor ? losartan based for your BP?
Med is showing promise -interrupting the virus ability to replicate, by interfering in its ability to attach to target cells.

Losartan
This hypertension drug reduces blood pressure by preventing a hormone called angiotensin from binding to receptors on blood vessels, allowing them to stay relaxed.

Scientists hypothesized that losartan might help patients with COVID-19 because, as an angiotensin receptor blocker, it obstructs the site through which the virus gets into the cells, Tolar said.

This drug rounds out the trifecta of treatments that University of Minnesota researchers are putting through clinical trials; they have not yet started recruiting subjects, according to the NIH.
