That is true, but healthy people will generally be okay, immuno-suppressed will struggle.
They need to do what they need to do. You cannot be fscking over the entire ecomomy because some may struggle, and even fewer not not survive. If were at all important, then you should've intervened when the daily murder rate reached 10. The latter is on 50 now, approaching 60, which also includes those with immuno-suppression problems. Pity a coroner doesn't care whether you had immunity problems, or asthma, when you're dead from a stabbing.

Thor is partly correct. Spars are "convenience stores" rather than "supermarkets", so at times more expensive than super markets, depending on the item.

But Spars are also usually privately owned franchises I believe, so they can also set their own prices on a number of goods. So they can be cheaper than the supermarkets (as well as superior quality if they have a good butcher or baker for example). It'll depend on the Spar and the owner's choice of supplier and staff.
Spars are as cheap and as big in some cases as PnP, Checkers etc.

Sometimes they have plenty of stuff cheaper than anywhere else, just like any other supermarket that has rolling specials. They have mandated prices on many things so you can rest assured prices for most things will be the same in all Spars in a particular region, just like any other supermarket.

What about car accidents claiming 400 lives every week?

discussions had recently been held with public works and infrastructure minister Patricia de Lille about logistics

This is the same Aunty Patty who had zero clue how to manage the water shortage in Cape Town ?!

Please dear god please don't allow politicians to manage anything that involves saving lives.

Yes really, it’s called opportunistic infections, read up on it.
No , its called scarring , or some more professional word.I've had pneumonias and was 3 months intubated , and that is very visible on my scans. My lungs got damaged for life.

Yes, I’ve also had early onset pneumonia(s), what I was actually referring to is that immune-suppressed individuals are going to be at higher risk for opportunistic infection, I.e pneumonia(s). I have not disputed the damage the disease causes.

Delayed until tomorrow as expected.

Why even bother telling people that he would be saying anything tonight...
He needs to hedge his stocks first.
Do you honestly believe he's just sitting around fiddling his thumbs?

Mybb is full of experts, getting tiresome reading through all this drivel. Just wondering why none of you are actually pursuing a career in politics? You all seem to be able to do a better job.

Seeing as the NICD hasn't updated yet they are either taking the day off today, or President Ramaphosa will announce the new tally this afternoon.

I expect we'll be at around 300 cases, with more than 9000 tests done so far.

At 274 cases, we are well below the expected trend. That is a 14% increase from yesterday. This is not expected.

We are at more than 9000 tests, though. That's somewhat positive.

Italy

Among the deaths: a 34-year-old man in Rome with no existing health conditions (according to reports) who died after being hospitalized for 4 days in sub‐intensive care. He had developed a fever after returning from Barcelona, Spain

When hospitals run out of ICUs and doctors and nurses are stretched out, age will be less relevant.
