I find it interesting that because only two known symptoms had been identified mid Feb, that the Dr said he didn't have the right symptoms to have Covid and "dismissed" it as regular flu. I think you'll find many instances of this, repeatedly, and everywhere. Also goes to show how useless the temp screening is, ultimately.
