It will be, we're following what all the other countries are doing and with the exception of China none of them have lifted their lockdowns.

Hopefully they allow restaurants to re-open and do deliveries, so many jobs would be saved and the overall risk to flattening the curve is minimal

Also certain the LD will continue, not so sure about easing of restrictions or any kind of break. IMO the gov. knows nobody will listen if they don't act very tough. (Adolf being the exception, he always thinks that way.)

There is a shortage of flu jabs and some evidence exists indicating the possibility of the flu vaccine having beneficial results for preventing Covid-19 infection. Medical staff all over the place have been getting the injections as a matter of priority.

Just a shout out to PnP online - they delivered on the correct day and timeslot. I know it's hard to get a slot now obviously but well worth it if you are prepared to wait, or only buy certain stuff on a monthly basis.

How does that make any sense? There would be no reason to have a reprieve if the goals of the first lockdown have not been realised. The only sense for a second wave would be to combat the second wave of infections. Hence if this initial period is found to be not long enough, the only logical answer is to extend without a gap. Tuff as that is.
