Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Zulzi buy from the existing stores? So how can they charge cheaper for the same product (or do they hunt around for a local special, or buy from another place, or have their own stock, or do the platforms increase the price for items on their delivery platforms?)

They are only in selected areas.
They do have other advantages like delivery in 15minutes and also much longer delivery times (6am to 10pm)
If nothing else, that is one thing Checkers got right with Sixty60: They launched in all major centers at nearly the same time; which led to a lot of word-of-mouth publicity.

No, not anymore. (I wondered the same thing earlier this year when I heard their 15-minute delivery ad campaign.)

They have their own "dark stores".

With an update here: https://mybroadband.co.za/news/inte...ulzis-15-minute-grocery-delivery-promise.html

I ordered from them this weekend, including some mince, and even that was "Z-Mart" branded.

In Centurion, it looks like their dark store is in Hennopspark (that's where my delivery came from, according to their in-app delivery driver tracker).

Looks pretty similar to me. The main difference is the coffee being an oddly priced item which you usually find with other stores as well.

Woolies Dash takes up to 24 hrs to make a delivery, P’nP used to be like Woolies say they lost my loyalty and haven’t and will most properly not try them again. Izulzi, well, who they, never heard of them.
Now #Checkers might be slightly more expensive, but their Sixty60 is superior. Delivery always within 40 minutes. Love them, Love them, Love them!!!

Thanks for bringing me up to speed :)

They should change this on their site:

Made me not consider them (I'm in Pretoria) and only Jan's post about using them in Centurion (who is also not on the list above) made me install the app and check.
