Legal governments? Who determines this status and based on what? The US Government is "legal" but the NSA does whatever it feels like against it own citizens and especially us outside of the US. And so the three spheres (Government, Private Sector, and Criminals) work hand-in-glove to turn 80% of humanity into slaves.

What is the best way to confirm if our current ISP connections (or their interconnections) are tapped and by what method this tapped data may be accessed?

Are the ISPs allowed to disclose any of this information or is it NSA style?
