South Africans' most and least favourite things about their mobile operators

A recent MyBroadband survey showed that MTN is the top mobile operator in South Africa with a particularly strong performance in network quality.

This is funny, too funny.

I have both Vodacom and MTN lines and in terms of value for money they are no different.

From my experience, MTN has the most stable network but Vodacom has what I would term a more powerful network. The difference when on the internet between the two is staggering, MTN just can't compete. Probably has to do with my area but Vodacom is way ahead.

Must be those Axxess and Afrihost clients, as neither MTN not Vodacom would count as value for money at R100/GB.

Vodacom is great...once you switch on Voice over WiFi. Else the signal here by us is so crap Michael Bay is about to make a missing persons film about it.
