The average Italian works 9 minutes, US citizens one minute more at 10 minutes, South Africans are just below Columbians who have to work 1 hour and 12 minutes. The poor Indians need to slog for 6 hours before they can indulge.

Those figures are of course based on minimum wages.
Those of us on this forum do a lot better...
If you take tax threshold of R4500(?), thats R25 per hour.
So, around 15 mins for a beer.

Also, what does a beer cost? I would imagine they picked an average?

Myself = 1 beer every 2 minutes 53 seconds before tax and 3 minutes 56 seconds after tax working on average price of a beer in a pub being R10.
