Starlink explosion in South Africa — ICASAsePush enters the game

The number of Internet service providers (ISPs) selling Starlink satellite Internet services to South African residents continues to grow despite the regulatory hurdles they must still overcome to operate in the country lawfully.

One such provider — ICASAsePUSH — recently entered the South African market and is close to reaching 400 units sold.
 
I'm still torn regarding this - I know a few SA ISP's that have started from nothing, their garages - but they need to be 30% BEE now - should the focus not be on removing the BEE requirement as a whole?

Do you mean like we all do a Yoga session?
 
If we all stand together and just go ahead and install our own ICASA will be outnumbered. Just like there are too many mini bus taxis on the road. Too many gangsters with guns. Too many EFF shoppers when it comes to Black Friday specials. Same with all of us not paying eTolls and not paying SABC tv licences. We can out number them and then there is nothing they can do. Anarchy

How big is the market for this? Or how will it positively influence prices if possible? I'm trying to understand what we lose out if it doesn't launch here?
