I guess all imported tyres from Europe will follow suit, more margin for the trade and consumer must just cough up.
Why not just ban the import of Hifly/Fingfong (China tyres) etc tyres and make a SA tyre of same performance and price. But no - government want more tax and SATMC want more margin for the crap they produce.
