Hopefully Banyana has a better showing at the COSAFA Women’s Championship starting next week here in PE - they really got their butts handed to them last year.

They have the structure right, Desiree will be taking a break and Simphiwe Dludlu of the u20 will be taking over with her choice of younger players, to create a much bigger pool of players to choose from for the world cup. That's the kind of coordination I would like to see in the men's team, as it is now everyone is just doing their thing.

I will definitely be watching, I am now a fan.

COSAFA is more of a developmental tournament to give younger players a chance. To be honest, not winning it is not the worst thing. We'd rather not win it but unearth a gem.
