South Africa's mobile network operators offer a range of WhatsApp-only data bundles for users who spend lots of time on the platform.

WhatsApp is not just the world's most popular messaging app but also a big favourite among South Africans.

The chat app allows its users to keep in touch via text, video, or voice calls, and to share media and online links, among other features.

MTN must be paying Mybroadband some good money. First, it is regarded as the superior network, which in my experience (I use both Vodacom and MTN) it is not, and now you guys hide the fact that their whatsapp bundle lasts 20 days compared to the other two networks.

I have a 10 GB contract with Telkom solely for the purpose of donating. It's all network data, so it works on the farm. It's only R200.
