South Africa's favourite crypto coins

Blockchain and web3 software company Consensys has released the results of its second annual Web3 and Crypto Perception Survey, revealing that most connected South Africans have bought cryptocurrencies.

The survey further reveals that of the 97% of people who have heard about cryptocurrencies, 68% have bought some in the past or currently own crypto.
 
Once upon a time it could have been regarded as the future of money

Now it is just number go up gambling

Not all blockchains are scams but all scammers are into blockchain

I wonder about the percentage of people who actually use crypto for anything other than speculation.

Yea with many it should have been called the copy pasta paper

There was a time where I bought it may lead somewhere

Like when project khokha among others ran a trial and you could start using it to buy stuff

(But yea trying to use it you soon realise with the fees this ain't going anywhere)

I think all uses are loop back usage

I bought 302 x Cardano coins for R4.90 ea in September 2023, nice to see the shitcoin is sitting at R20.54 today per coin

I might be wrong person to ask re: returns. I use it purely from dividends accrued. It does fluctuate a fair bit, to be expected, but you can see in the snip in my opening post at the moment it’s doing well.

All the bucks I actually deposit in my EE is for mostly ETF’s & a few odd single local shares, zero crypto anything.

Cardano is the cousin of Etherium. If Cardano ever goes big one day in 10 years time like Etherium did then I am gonna be sitting pretty with these 302 shitcoins

forget about this BUY BTC plain and simple also nothing more than you can afford to loose buy a bit every time you can and forget about it
