Most popular TV brands and sizes in South Africa

Hisense, Samsung, LG, and Skyworth dominate South Africa’s TV market, while 55-inch and 58-inch displays are local consumers’ favourite sizes.

MyBroadband asked major TV retailers in South Africa about the most popular TV brands and sizes they sold in the first half of the year.

TCL been good for and I just got an Itel for the kids

After having a Hisense TV, I will not even buy a Hisense toilet plunger.
Hisense biggest downfall in countries other than US is that it runs on stupid VIDAA crap. Why not just let it run on android tv. I was considering getting the u8h but because it runs on VIDAA I will not get it.

Anyway Why don't you like Hisense. We have a Hisense double door fridge and it's amazing. Longer lasting than Defy, Whirlpool, Samsung

Mostly Vidaa and their attitude towards development and updates (we'll get to it when we get to it, or pretend until you stop asking for a Disney+ app).

Oh, and the backlights died on my TV. Replaced with TCL and quite happy so far.
