Bad news for South Africa's first off-grid electric charging network

The completion of South Africa's first fully off-grid electric vehicle (EV) charging station has been delayed by three months.

However, the company behind the station — Zero Carbon Charge (ZeroCC) — remains adamant that it is still on course to construct 120 of these stations a year after the estimated new completion date for its first station.

I call dibs on their batteries when the endeavour goes pear-shaped.

Why do they make the roof round so they cant mount solar panels on it?
it's probably more complicated to build a frame to mount the panels on, but I wouldn't say you can't mount solar panels on it. Just a needless pain in the neck to do so.

Do you have to have 2 rain gutters too?

I don't think they're using those roofs to mount the panels. They'd need a bigger roof right?
They probably have dedicated mounting stands close by (with better security?).
