South Africa's government’s empty promises

By the time it happens (if at all) everybody will have fiber. Including the Bushmen in the Kalahari.

Fscking useless, ignorant muppets.

They'll only unbundle once it's redundant, because they get to milk it alone -and as long as possible.

With such a cool opening paragraph, I told myself to read the article. In the second paragraph, my beer told me to move on.

Is the fibre optic rollout getting around this?

No. They must be laid in straight channels for obvious reasons.

Even if FTTF solves some problems promises were made and should've be kept.
