Really nice to see MTN's sustained performance and how the overall average kept increasing overtime for SA. No surprises here for rain hehe

I am surprised to see MTN that far in front. Now if only I could get them to deliver my sim card :(

Thats not true here in Vereeniging. Vodacom is the better network here.

is Cell C still an MNO? or is it just an MVNO on MTN's network?

Is there any way we can see this broken down by time of day? Some of these networks may be worse in the evenings (important for home users) vs in the day (important for mobile/business users).

They still operate a large RAN to the best of my knowledge. They want to move over the MTN completely, but have to pay all their roaming bills first.

quite a lot actually, the best places to catch them are main road / highway / outskirt towers that are about 10 ~15km away from you and on the second band, but you need to have a setup going in the first place which the vast majority of people don't want to hassle going through with and that shouldn't be necessary in the first place. Definitely agree though that just out of the box with internal antennas, there's probably two or three places in the nation.

thank you
i am interested in what they are doing/going to be doing with the spectrum assigned to them....might make them a nice fit inside the woan, otherwise at what stage is it returned (and what are the implications for the auction process)

Thanks for the info.......I am 800m away from a tower and battle (on a good day) to get above 2mbps.
